On Tuesday night, a man was fatally shot in Kearney, Missouri, and a person of interest has been arrested and is currently in jail in Clay County.
According to a news release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. in a residence located in the 16200 block of Kountry Ridge Drive.
The person who was harmed, and whose identity has not been disclosed, passed away at the location of the incident.
