Indianapolis man arrested by Indiana State Police for alleged attempted murder

Mocobizscene- On Wednesday, an Indianapolis man was arrested and charged with attempted murder by detectives from the Indiana State Police. The detectives concluded that this altercation took place on U.S. 31 in Miami County.

Detectives conducted a thorough investigation into the incident, which led them to gather enough evidence to apply for an arrest warrant on the charge of attempted murder, among other charges. Miami County issued a warrant that encompassed several charges, including attempted murder.

Detectives with the Indiana State Police, along with SWAT, were getting ready to execute an arrest warrant at a residence in Indianapolis on Wednesday. As they were preparing, they noticed Nailon leaving the premises in a vehicle. Acting swiftly, they carried out a high-risk traffic stop at 21st Street and Mitthoefer Road, successfully apprehending Nailon.

Nailon was taken to the Marion County Jail where he awaits extradition to Miami County. He was arrested on preliminary charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, criminal confinement, pointing a firearm, domestic battery, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and violation of probation (on a warrant issued from St. Joseph County).
