In Montgomery neighborhood, a minor sustains injuries during an episode of gunfire

According to Montgomery police, a 13-year-old boy was involved in a disturbance on Rosa L. Parks Avenue on Monday afternoon. The boy sustained injuries but fortunately, they were not serious.

According to a police spokesperson, a call reporting a shooting was received at approximately 1:15 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that a boy had suffered minor gunshot wounds during the altercation.

Police have stated that the boy was treated on the scene for his injuries, but no further details about the nature of the injuries have been provided. Fortunately, he was released from treatment without requiring hospitalization.
