Identification of Texas man killed in Los Angeles crash by authorities

Mocobizscene- A 46-year-old man from Brownsville, Texas has been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as the victim of a fatal accident. The incident occurred when the SUV he was driving collided with a big rig as it was exiting the San Diego (405) Freeway into the Carson Weigh Station.

Francisco Mora has been identified as the deceased individual, as reported by the agency. The unfortunate accident took place around 11:20 p.m. on Friday on the northbound San Diego Freeway, specifically near the weigh station situated between Avalon Boulevard and Main Street. These details were provided by CHP Officer Sergio Garcia.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the 2019 Buick Encore was discovered trapped beneath the trailer of the 2020 Freightliner Cascadia, causing both vehicles to obstruct the right two lanes of the freeway.

Mora was declared deceased at the accident site.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the Buick was responsible for rear-ending a big rig driven by a man from Durham, North Carolina. The truck driver had slowed down in the exit lane in order to go to the Carson scales. Investigators at the scene were able to determine this sequence of events.
