Hit-and-Run in LaFayette Leaves Elderly Woman with Serious Injuries and Suspect Remains at Large

An elderly woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident involving the truck.

At precisely 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, the occurrence took place on East Villanow Street, close to Charles Henry Circle.

As the incident occurred, the truck was heading westbound towards Duke Street.

As the car advanced towards the downtown area, the driver took a right turn onto Charles Henry Circle before returning back onto East Villanow Street and proceeding towards the same direction.

According to authorities, the truck in question is a grey Ford F150 4×4, believed to be a model from the years 2011 to 2014. The vehicle is equipped with a chrome package, featuring chrome mirrors, door handles, and running boards.
