Harris County Criminal Court Judge faces charges for assaulting family member

Mocobizscene- Galveston County authorities have officially filed charges against Judge Frank Aguilar of the Harris County Criminal Court for assaulting a family member on New Year’s Eve.

Judge Aguilar is in charge of the 228th District Court, where cases involving the tragic Harding Street police raid are heard. This raid resulted in the unfortunate deaths of two innocent civilians at the hands of the police.

The trial for that case has not started even after five years. Aguilar’s formal charges will prompt an inquiry by the State Commission on Judicial Standards, potentially resulting in his removal from the bench.
