Gwen Stefani denies divorce rumors with Blake Shelton, labeling them as false information.

Gwen Stefani dismisses divorce rumors

In the spring-summer issue of Nylon magazine, the 54-year-old singer-songwriter, addressed the ongoing speculation about her marriage to her husband, country music star Blake Shelton.

Stefani and Shelton crossed paths for the first time in 2014 while serving as coaches on the popular show “The Voice.” Their initial encounter eventually blossomed into a beautiful love story, leading them to tie the knot in July 2021. Prior to her relationship with Shelton, Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale and shares three sons with her ex. Similarly, Shelton was previously wed to Miranda Lambert.

In a feature story for Nylon magazine, Stefani opens up about her latest single “Purple Irises” with Shelton. She shares the vulnerabilities she experienced while writing this heartfelt song.

“I found myself in a phase where I was constantly questioning: ‘Am I just getting older? Do I still have that youthful charm?'” she reminisced.

Even though I am aware of the current reality in my own relationship, I still find myself creating unnecessary drama in my mind due to my insecurities and fears about what could potentially happen. When I was with Blake, I went through a phase where I became increasingly paranoid.

The sight of flourishing purple irises on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch served as a poignant reminder to Stefani of the enduring strength of their marriage.

“I have to admit, the truth is that I’m head over heels in love with my best friend. All these thoughts swirling around in my mind, it’s just me overthinking,” she confessed.

Stefani emphasized her ability to block out external noise, stating that when two people are deeply in love and share aligned values, no one can affect their relationship.

“I mean, we were on the verge of getting divorced again or something,” she said, reflecting on the ups and downs of our relationship over the past week.

“It’s all falsehoods. The fact remains that we know the truth, and that’s what matters. Therefore, I refuse to let any negativity seep in simply because I am opening up and sharing a song that was meant solely for my own personal expression and not for anyone else, except for Blake.”
