Mocobizscene- According to investigators, as the couple parked their car in the driveway, a group of suspects in a car and van approached and robbed them of their money and irreplaceable family heirlooms.
In a matter of seconds, the attack was captured on surveillance camera.
“I screamed, ‘Lock the door, lock the door!'” recounted Dr. Vijay Wali, the victim of the attack. “Do not allow anyone to enter, and immediately call 911.”
Dr. Priyanka Wali, the daughter of the victims, recounted the incident, saying, “According to my parents, thieves ransacked our house and stole all of our jewelry. They even took my mother’s purse.”
Inside the purse, there were valuable items including money, credit cards, and cherished family heirlooms from India that have been passed down for generations.
Investigators are actively working on locating the thieves by analyzing various security camera surveillance videos obtained from houses in the neighborhood.
