Friend charged with murder in Temple Hills

Mocobizscene- The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) has made an arrest in connection with a tragic shooting incident that occurred in Temple Hills on Saturday morning, according to DC News Now.

In the early hours of the morning, at around 4 a.m., law enforcement officers arrived at the scene of a shooting. They discovered Estep Kyler Jr., a 36-year-old resident of Largo, with a gunshot wound in the 2300 block of Iverson St. According to Kyler’s account, he and his friend, Andrew Carnell, a 40-year-old from Washington, D.C., were sitting inside a car in a parking lot located in the 2400 block of Iverson St. when a heated argument ensued.

Kyler is currently in custody at a hospital, receiving treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries. He faces charges of first- and second-degree murder, along with other related offenses. Once he is released from the hospital, he will be transferred to the Department of Corrections.
