Florida police apprehend man who evaded court appearance and led them on a pursuit

A man who had skipped his court date in Allegheny County and led police on a high-speed chase was apprehended and taken into custody in Florida, according to reports from Polk County.

Hermas Craddock was arrested on Thursday evening by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, as confirmed by the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office.

Craddock faced allegations of initiating a high-speed pursuit along Route 28 in Pennsylvania, where he reportedly came dangerously close to colliding with two state police troopers. During the incident, he also allegedly discarded a weapon from his vehicle.
