Father of Baby Killed by Defective Radiator Calls for ‘Responsibility’

Mocobizscene- The father of an eleven-month-old child who tragically died from steam emitted by a malfunctioning radiator is demanding accountability. The incident occurred in the family’s Midwood apartment, where Binyomin Kuravsky was found unconscious and suffering from severe burns on January 19.

Tragically, he was pronounced dead shortly after. Alexander Kuravsky, the boy’s father, emphasizes the importance of holding responsible parties accountable, especially considering the millions of people who live with steam radiators, many of whom have young children. The New York City Buildings Department has already issued six violations against the building’s landlord, and the case is set to be reviewed by an Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings judge in March.
