Police have confirmed that a man who was shot and left in critical condition in southwest Atlanta on Monday afternoon has tragically passed away.
The shooting occurred on Monday, just before 4:30 p.m., near a community library on Cleveland Ave.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered the victim, a 37-year-old individual, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he tragically passed away.
The man’s identity remains unknown.
The police have not disclosed the details leading up to the shooting or whether anyone has been arrested.
