Fatal crash in Pennsylvania claims lives of 5 Ohio residents, including infant

Tragedy struck on Tuesday afternoon in Pennsylvania, as a devastating crash claimed the lives of five individuals from Ohio, one of whom was an infant.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of National Pike 40 and New Meadow Run Drive in Wharton Township at 1:21 p.m., according to WPXI.

According to the station’s report, a crash occurred involving a commercial vehicle and two passenger vehicles.

An Ohio father, who has been charged with the murder of his three sons, has entered an insanity plea.

The victims of the tragic incident were identified by the coroner in a Facebook post on Thursday. Among them were Harold Nibert, aged 55, Bradley Thivener, aged 47, Krystal May, aged 36, Amanda Dawson, aged 33, and 7-month-old Kullen Dawson.

The victims were in a black Honda Accord when it crossed the double yellow line and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer, as stated by the coroner.

The five victims are all residents of Delaware, Ohio.

The driver of the tractor-trailer emerged unharmed.
