Tragically, a fatal collision occurred in Cobb County during the early hours of the morning, resulting in the loss of one individual.
Police officers in Cobb County received a report of a fatal collision at the intersection of Macland Road and John Petree Road in Powder Springs at approximately 4:30 a.m.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the Toyota had been crossing the intersection with John Petree Road when it was struck by GMC, which was traveling east on Macland Road.
The driver of the Toyota was declared deceased at the location of the incident.
The identities of both the drivers remain unknown at this time.
The crash is currently under investigation by officers.
