Mocobizscene- A devastated family is desperately seeking justice following the tragic loss of their beloved great grandfather in a hit-and-run incident captured on camera in South Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a fatal accident occurred on Wednesday at the junction of Adams Boulevard and Main Street.
Alberto Castaneda Aco, a 72-year-old man, was on his way home from work when he became the victim of a tragic incident. According to the police, several suspects driving a stolen Infiniti ran a red light and collided with another vehicle. As a result of the impact, the driver of the Infiniti lost control and struck Alberto Castaneda Aco.
The authorities suspect that the individuals in that vehicle may have been under the influence. A bystander managed to capture a photo of the suspects hastily gathering their belongings before fleeing the scene, leaving the man injured on the street.
“It’s heartbreaking to see how they simply gathered their personal belongings and left without considering what they were leaving behind,” expressed Martha Correa, the daughter of the affected individuals.
Aco, a passionate boxer during his youth in Mexico, was a devoted father to five children, a proud grandfather of eight, and even a great grandfather.
