INDIANAPOLIS— Some of the consumers of a national retail store are receiving greater discounts on their purchases.
On Wednesday, December 13, Kroger announced that customers 55 years of age and above would receive an additional 5% off in-store purchases.
“Our goal at Kroger is to give everyone access to healthy, reasonably priced food,” stated division president Colleen Juergensen. “Throughout the year, customers may take advantage of savings in both our physical locations and our online shopping platform. We hope that our senior consumers will be able to stretch their budgets even further and find a little extra happiness over the holidays with this extra discount.
To receive the extra 5% off, eligible shoppers must notify the cashier and present their Kroger loyalty card or another form of identification.
There are presently 24 sites of the supermarket shop in Indianapolis. Customers can also get extra discounts and benefits from Kroger via its mobile app. This is what Kroger has to say about the savings event:
“Kroger is dedicated to giving every customer a quick, economical, and fresh shopping experience. Seniors can use their Kroger loyalty account to save money on fresh produce, pantry basics, household needs, and more during this one-day event. A few things are not included in this offer: gift cards or certificates, lottery tickets, tobacco goods, gasoline, money orders, taxes, postal stamps, alcohol, prescription drugs, and costs related to guests or customers.”
