Mocobizscene-The D.C. police have apprehended a teenager in connection with a shooting and two robberies that took place in Northeast D.C. in November.
On November 24, officers were called to the scene of a shooting on Hayes St., N.E. In this incident, two victims were shot while they were on their way back home. Thanks to the security camera footage, the authorities were able to identify the teenage suspect behind the attack.
On December 11th, officers discovered the 17-year-old suspect in the 3700 block of Hayes St., N.E. During the arrest, a rifle was found in his possession, leading to his apprehension. He was subsequently charged with an active Absconder warrant.
In addition to the shooting incident, he is facing charges for carrying a pistol without a license/unregistered firearm, assault with a dangerous weapon, destruction of property, and unlawful discharge of a firearm. Furthermore, he is also accused of being involved in the following armed robberies:

- On Friday, Dec. 1 at approximately 9:56 a.m., in the 5600 block of Eads Street, Northeast. The two victims were walking when a car pulled up next to them and two suspects exited the vehicle and demanded the victims’ property while armed with a gun.

- On Sunday, Dec. 10 at approximately 1:01 p.m., in the 3500 block of Jay Street, Northeast. The victim was walking when three suspects approached him and demanded property. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
