Steve Bannon, who served as President Trump’s 2016 campaign executive, expressed his frustration with House Republicans on Monday. He accused them of wanting to diminish the influence of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement and hoping for the former president’s failure in his potential 2024 White House run.
“Why isn’t there a criminal conspiracy investigation against Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan, from Fani Willis in Georgia to ‘Big Tish James’ in New York City?” Bannon questioned during his “War Room” podcast.
According to Bannon, the Justice Department should have taken action by sending letters to preserve documents and holding hearings to investigate the matter. However, he believes that they have not done so because they lack support for President Trump.

Bannon jokingly remarked, “Instead of going on ‘Hannity’ and talking about your plans, don’t just send out tweets. Show me what you’re going to do.”
“There is absolutely no support for President Trump. I cannot stress this enough: there is absolutely nothing happening,” he concluded.
Amid mounting criticism of Republican leadership, several lawmakers are voicing their support for calls to remove Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), Bannon revealed.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) teamed up with Bannon on the episode to talk about Johnson’s declining popularity among supporters of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement. This comes after the approval of a foreign aid bill that includes assistance for Ukraine.
“He betrayed everyone, the entire Republican party, Republican voters, and the Republican conference,” she exclaimed. “And this time, voters are extremely furious.”
Bannon agreed with the Georgia Republican’s demands, stating, “Johnson must be removed.”
