Authorities seek suspect who fatally shot lawyer at McDonald’s in dispute with customer

According to The Houston Chronicle, Houston police are currently searching for a man who allegedly killed an attorney at a McDonald’s restaurant. The attorney had attempted to intervene in a fight between the man and an employee.

Anthony Martin Landry is facing murder charges after allegedly shooting local attorney Jeffrey Limmer in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant, according to police reports.

According to KTRK, the police stated that Limmer intervened to stop the fight. After that, Limmer and Landry proceeded to go outside the restaurant. As the dispute carried on, Limmer pushed Landry to the ground.

According to ABC 13, Landry is believed to have gone to his car and retrieved a gun, proceeding to allegedly shoot Limmer. The police report states that Landry then fled the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck from the 2000s.
