Authorities searching for female suspect involved in anti-Islamic message found in Manhattan apartment building

Mocobizscene-The NYPD has recently shared images of a woman who is being sought after for her involvement in writing an anti-Islamic message in the elevator of a Manhattan apartment building. This incident occurred last month and the police are actively seeking any information that can lead to her identification and apprehension.

According to the police, on Jan. 15 at approximately 2:35 p.m., the suspect used a marker to write an anti-Islamic statement on the inside of the elevator wall at 497 West 182nd Street in Fort George.

The woman, who is said to have a slender physique, was last spotted donning a checker-patterned jacket, a green beanie, a blue surgical mask, long earrings, and camouflage pants. After the incident, officials stated that she escaped in an unspecified direction.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is actively investigating this incident and working to apprehend the perpetrator on charges of criminal mischief and a hate crime, according to the police.
