Detectives from the Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are seeking the public’s help in finding 12-year-old Maribel Galeas, who has been reported missing from Silver Spring.
Galeas disappeared on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at around 2 a.m., in the 300 block of Northwest Dr., in Silver Spring. She is 4’07, weighs 75 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a pink and brown jacket, a grey hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, black sneakers, and a leopard skin bag.
