Arrested: South Bay woman accused of embezzling $2.5M from clients

Mocobizscene- A 64-year-old woman has been taken into custody by the Los Angeles police on charges of defrauding her fiduciary clients and embezzling a staggering $2.5 million. Authorities have also revealed that they are currently investigating to determine if there are any other victims involved in this case.

Donna Bogdanovich was arrested on Friday by investigators from the Department of Justice and the Los Angeles Police Department Commercial Crimes Division. The arrest came after a 14-month investigation into suspicions of fraud. According to county jail records, she was held in lieu of $850,000 bail.

Bogdanovich, a licensed fiduciary, was responsible for managing special needs trusts and conservatorships for elderly individuals and other adult dependents, according to the police.

According to a statement from the police, it was revealed that the clients had entrusted her with the responsibility of providing fiduciary services. However, it was later discovered that Bogdanovich had been transferring money from her victims to her personal account. This deceitful act resulted in a significant loss of $2.5 million for the victims.

In an effort to encourage more potential victims to step forward, the police have shared a photograph of Bogdanovich.
