Bibb County police apprehend 18 and 21-year-old culprits after a high-speed chase

Police have arrested an individual who was wanted for speeding. The suspect is currently in custody.

Sheriff’s deputies from the Bibb County Office made an effort to pull over a Land Rover that was apparently racing another vehicle on Pio Nono Avenue, on Wednesday.

According to BCSO, the driver in Houston County leaped out of his moving car while holding a gun and attempted to flee.

According to deputies, the suspect attempted to evade authorities by jumping over multiple fences. As a result, he had to be hospitalized for treatment.

At only 21 years of age, the individual in question is currently facing a number of serious charges, including felony fleeing and eluding, felony obstruction, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, among others. It is worth noting that this individual also has several outstanding warrants out of Houston County.

According to authorities, the vehicle had an 18-year-old passenger who was also taken into custody and is now facing charges of felony fleeing and eluding, as well as misdemeanor obstruction.
