Arrest Made in Two-Month-Old Homicide Case by D.C. Police

Mocobizscene-The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch has achieved a major breakthrough in an October murder case. They have made an arrest in relation to the shooting that led to the death of a man in Northeast D.C.

On October 16th, at approximately 5:29 a.m., law enforcement received a distress call regarding a shooting incident in the 1500 block of Maryland Avenue. Officers swiftly responded to the scene and discovered Davon Fuller, a 28-year-old resident of Northwest D.C., with gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Fuller tragically lost his life at a nearby hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

On December 27th, Deandre Miles, a 28-year-old resident of Northeast D.C., voluntarily turned himself in to the Homicide Branch. After surrendering, Miles faced charges of First Degree Murder while Armed, as stated in a DC Superior Court arrest warrant.
