Breakling News: Armed robbery in Kansas City results in one person injured in shooting

A shooting incident occurred during an armed robbery in Kansas City, Missouri, leading to one person being transported to the hospital on Friday night.

Around 6:15, the Kansas City police officers rushed to the business located at E. Truman Road and Askew Avenue following a report of a shooting.

Upon arriving at the scene, the officers discovered the victim positioned behind a counter, clearly suffering from a gunshot wound.

The police were informed that a suspect had entered the business premises, where they demanded money and fired a gun, ultimately hitting the victim.

The suspect fled the scene on foot before the police arrived.

According to the police, the victim was transported to a nearby hospital by EMS with injuries that are not life-threatening.

No suspect has been apprehended at this time.
