A woman from Mississippi had an unexpected surprise when she gave birth at an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant, Golden Corral, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The surprising part was that the woman was completely unaware of her pregnancy.
The new mother was stunned to realize that she was pregnant only when she went into labor in the restaurant restroom.
Tayvia Woodfork, the mother of Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork, expressed her disbelief by stating, “I’m still in shock.”
According to the American Pregnancy Association, Woodfork went through a unique experience known as cryptic pregnancy. This type of pregnancy refers to a situation where the mother remains unaware of the pregnancy for a considerable period of the term, despite not expecting to be pregnant.
When Tamaar was born, his family, including his mother Tayvia and grandmother Tameka, decided to stop at a buffet for a quick meal on their way back home to Mississippi.
Woodfork stated that he didn’t make it to the table.
Upon experiencing discomfort, Tayvia made her way to the bathroom while in pain. Tameka initially believed her daughter was only dealing with cramps and not contractions.
When Tayvia’s sister went to the bathroom to check on her, she was taken aback by what she found.
As Tameka reminisced, she recalled the words, “I ain’t never seen nothing like it. It’s a baby!” spoken in amazement.
“The new grandmother added that the baby weighed 6 pounds and was a full-sized baby.”
Tayvia’s experience was beyond what she could have imagined, but it also brought with it a great deal of pain.
She expressed her discomfort as a perfect ten out of ten.
The Golden Corral’s staff and customers became huge fans of Tayvia after she gave birth.
Tameka recounted that the crowd was applauding as she was being brought out on the stretcher.
According to his grandmother, Tamaar’s unexpected birth has turned him into somewhat of a celebrity.
Tameka states that everyone is eager to catch a glimpse of the Golden Corral baby.
According to a recent Facebook post by Golden Corral, baby Tamaar has officially become the youngest fan of the restaurant chain.
The restaurant reassured its customers that their mothers would be taken care of by providing them with Golden Corral gift cards, while they receive the necessary care.
