Alpharetta-based technology firm files lawsuit against Fulton County sheriff for alleged violation of contract

Sheriff Pat Labat is facing a lawsuit from a company that collaborated with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, which claims there was a breach of contract.

The sheriff’s office had previously hired Talitrix, a startup based in Alpharetta, to supply wristbands for tracking inmates.

According to a report from Channel 2 Action News, the contract between Talitrix and the Fulton County Board of Commissioners was dissolved in December.

When Channel 2 Action News attempted to gather information about the litigation, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office declined to comment.
