According to police, a man has been accused of fatally stabbing his former wife at a Naperville residence

On Monday, police announced that a man has been charged with the murder of his ex-wife at their Naperville home on Saturday. The woman was stabbed to death, and the suspect is now facing charges for the crime.

According to authorities, Zokir Kudratov, aged 55, is facing charges of two counts of first-degree murder.

According to reports, the residence where the stabbing occurred was located in the 2500-block of Saddlebrook Drive, where Kudratov and his former spouse resided on separate floors.

Police reported that the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals declared her deceased.

After being charged, Kudratov was transported to the Will County Jail and is set to appear in court on Wednesday.

Authorities have not yet revealed the identity of the woman who was killed.
