As Tony Hudgell, a nine-year-old boy, was on his way to attend the king’s garden party at Buckingham Palace, his mom’s car got stuck in a traffic jam on M20. After waiting for two long hours, Tony came to terms with the unfortunate reality that he wouldn’t be able to make it to the event. He decided to share his disappointment with his followers on X by posting a photo.
Not long after Tony made the post, something unexpected occurred. The Royal Family account took notice of his post and retweeted it, along with a message attached.
The message conveyed sympathy and regret. It read, “Tony, we’re sorry to hear that. We were really looking forward to seeing you. Would you be interested in trying again another day? We’ll take care of it for you.”
