Mocobizscene- This week, a 76-year-old woman was attacked at a McDonald’s in the West Village, police reported on Wednesday while they looked for the person who attacked her. Images of the female suspect being sought in the attack inside the McDonald’s at 208 Varick St. on Monday afternoon were made public by the NYPD.
About 4:35 p.m., the victim arrived at the restaurant. It’s unclear what caused the altercation between her and the other women. The woman repeatedly hit the elderly guy in the face throughout the altercation, according to the police.
Authorities said the man ran away south on Sixth Avenue toward Spring Street. The victim’s eye was slightly injured. For treatment, she was taken to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
