Mocobizscene- LA County District Attorney George Gascón has recently brought charges against Gary Garcia and Timberland Wayne McKneely. The two individuals are accused of committing a senseless shooting spree that resulted in the deaths of four innocent people.
Two individuals who are believed to be gang members have been charged in connection with a shooting rampage that resulted in the deaths of four individuals.
Gary Jonathan Garcia, aged 42, and Timberland Wayne McKneely, aged 20, are facing serious charges in connection with the case. They have been accused of four counts of murder and two counts each of attempted murder. If found guilty, they could be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The request made by the LA County DA’s office is to hold Garcia and McKneely without bail. Officials have reported that Garcia and McKneely engaged in a random shooting spree in Bell, Florence-Firestone, Cudahy, and Huntington Park on the night of Feb. 11 and into the early morning hours of Feb. 12.
Four people, including a 14-year-old boy, tragically lost their lives in the incident.
According to law enforcement officials, the shootings were carried out at random, and there is no evidence to suggest that the suspects had any prior knowledge of the victims. During a press conference on Thursday, District Attorney George Gascón expressed his belief that the victims were chosen at random while going about their daily routines.
“We are committed to leaving no stone unturned in our quest for justice on behalf of the victims and their families,” he emphasized.
According to authorities, there is a potential involvement of a third suspect in the case.
