Attention, Kroger shoppers: You may have hit the jackpot if you bought a Powerball ticket in Marietta. There’s a chance you could be walking away with a cool $1 million in your pocket.
The Georgia Lottery has confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that a lucky individual has won the jackpot by matching all the numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing. The winning ticket, worth a staggering $1 million, was purchased at the Kroger store located at 4880 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta.

According to the Georgia Lottery, three tickets worth $50,000 each were sold at different locations. These include the Shell Food Mart in Douglasville, the Airport S. mart in Columbus, and the Fast Break in Vidalia, specifically at the Shell Food Mart at 3636 Hwy 5, the Airport S. mart off Airport Thruway, and the Fast Break off East 1st Street, respectively.
If you didn’t win the jackpot, don’t worry. There’s another chance for you to win big. Since no one matched all five numbers and the Powerball number, the jackpot has now reached a staggering $1.23 billion for the upcoming Saturday drawing.
