Two Individuals Sentenced, One Individual Dismissed In Montgomery ‘Riverfront Brawl’ Case

Three individuals involved in the Montgomery “Riverfront Brawl” made their court appearance on Friday morning.

Zachary Shipman and Alan Todd recently appeared in Montgomery Municipal Court, where they both pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of harassment. Initially, they were charged with a misdemeanor of third-degree assault.

Shipman and Todd have been ordered to fulfill several requirements as part of their punishment. These include completing 100 hours of community service, attending an anger management course, covering court costs, and paying a $100 fine.

Shipman and Todd have been sentenced to a suspended period of 60 days with a 12-month probationary term. Shipman will serve his sentence in Dallas County, while Todd will be serving his in Baldwin County.

Riverboat co-captain Dameion Pickett also made an appearance in court, where his charge of third-degree assault was dismissed. Pickett showed no objection to the plea agreements reached by Shipman and Todd.

Reggie Ray, the suspect accused of assaulting someone with a folding chair, will discover his fate when he appears in court on Monday, December 11th.

The police have confirmed that a disagreement over a parking spot near the dock triggered the August brawl. This incident quickly caught the attention of the entire nation when a video of the altercation spread like wildfire on various social media platforms.
