Two house fires in Montgomery are under investigation

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Montgomery Fire Rescue says that two fires on Tuesday caused damage to two houses.

MFR said that the first fire started at 10:56 a.m. near Woodley Road and Endicott Drive. When firefighters got to the house, they could see that there was a lot of smoke. Crews were able to put out the fires quickly.

MFR said that the chaplain had been contacted to help the people.

2 Montgomery house fires

At 9:36 p.m., a second fire broke out near Champion Street, which is close to Lower Wetumpka Road. MFR said that when firemen got to the one-story building, there was a lot of smoke coming from it. The fire was put out quickly before it could spread to nearby buildings.

MFR searched both locations but found no one inside. There were also no reports of firefighters or people in the area getting injured.
