Mocobizscene- A shooting incident that occurred in Montgomery on Tuesday afternoon has led to the identification of a suspect.
At around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the MPD and Fire Medics received a call about a shooting incident in the 4000 block of Williams Road. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim who had been shot and was in critical condition.
The victim received transportation to a nearby hospital for medical care. According to MPD, they have identified the suspect as Jadarius Russell, 27, and have subsequently charged him with first-degree assault.
Russell is currently being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $30,000 bond. The ongoing investigation has not released any additional information.
