Hit-and-Run Accident in Montgomery Results in Driver’s Death and Injuries to Two Passengers – WAKA 8 News

The Montgomery police are currently investigating a hit-and-run accident that involved two vehicles. Unfortunately, the accident resulted in the death of one person and left two others injured.

At approximately 1:37 AM, authorities received a call to respond to the 3500 block of Carter Hill Road, situated in close proximity to the Midtown YMCA. Police were summoned to the scene.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a Dodge Charger at the scene. Unfortunately, the driver, identified as 23-year-old Jamauri Tyler from Montgomery, was found deceased. However, his two passengers were transported to a hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

Officers were not able to catch the driver of the second vehicle involved as they had fled the scene before their arrival.
