Over the past week, there have been a number of crime incidents in Montgomery County, Alabama.
These include the search for two fugitives and the evacuation of the county courthouse.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has called on the public to help locate these individuals and ensure the safety of the community.
Montgomery County Deputies Searching for Fugitive (Date: August 3, 2023)
One of the fugitives being sought is Corrick Barnett, a 30-year-old with multiple outstanding felony drug charges and a gun charge.
Despite previous felony convictions, he is in possession of a firearm, making him a danger to the community. He is described as being 6’0″ tall and weighing approximately 285 lbs.
The Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing him, and anyone with information is urged to come forward and help bring him to justice.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Whereabouts of Wanted Fugitive (Date: August 2, 2023)
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating wanted fugitive Charles Woodall.
Woodall, a 5’6″ black man weighing roughly 165 pounds, is wanted on various felony fraud and theft offences.
He is suspected of faking a cheque at a local bank and receiving stolen stuff worth more than $2,500. The public is encouraged to provide any information that may assist in his arrest.
All-Clear Given After Montgomery County Courthouse Evacuated (Date: August 3, 2023)
Police are currently investigating an incident that resulted in the evacuation of the Montgomery County Courthouse.
The cause for the evacuation has not been announced, but authorities are working hard to assure the safety and security of everyone concerned. As the inquiry continues, we will provide more updates.
