In a separate instance, Montgomery Police have identified the shooting victim from Sunday night. The shooting death of 27-year-old Fernando Edwards is being investigated as a homicide.
MPD responded to a local hospital on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at around 9:25 p.m., where Edwards was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound and later died.
The incident occurred in the 600 block of North Pass Road, it was determined.
