A 16-year-old has been charged as the second suspect in a killing in Montgomery on Friday

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of a 41-year-old man in Montgomery on Friday.

On Saturday, police reported the arrest of a 16-year-old boy in the death of Craig Adair. Because of his age, the teen’s name has been suppressed.

He is the second suspect in the death of Adair. Kendrick Moorer, 28, was also charged with capital murder on Friday.

Around 10 a.m. Friday, police and fire medics arrived to the 6100 block of Eric Lane.

According to Maj. Saba Coleman, officers discovered Adair at the site with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.

There has been no further information revealed.

Both suspects are being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center without bond.
