A teenager has been apprehended and charged with a summertime shooting in Silver Spring, according to the police. In the 1500 block of November Circle in August, four individuals and one lone gunman engaged in gunfire before dispersing in various directions prior to the arrival of police (see video).
The Montgomery County Department of Police has the following detectives: Although no fatalities were reported, a vacant apartment building was entered by one of the rounds in the vicinity of the gunfire incident. A Montgomery County Police spokesperson announced on Thursday that a 13-year-old suspect was apprehended in connection with the shooting after officers observed him during a traffic stop and conducted an investigation that spanned several months.

In the 11500 block of Stewart Lane, patrol officers recently stopped a black Toyota Rav4 for a traffic violation. Upon speaking with the seven occupants of the vehicle, they were able to promptly identify the teen, who was subsequently arrested without incident.
The 13-year-old was in possession of a 9mm handgun at the time of his arrest, and a search of his Toyota yielded two additional loaded firearms and a substantial quantity of hashish. Shooting footage captured the suspects and the vehicle that was sought.
Officers of the Montgomery County Department of Police additionally apprehended the six juvenile occupants of the Rav4, who were charged with weapon possession and other relevant offenses. Additionally charged with first-degree assault, the teen who was present during the November Circle shooting was transported to a juvenile detention facility.
