Two suspects arrested after 8-year-old shot in Mott Haven by NYPD

The NYPD has reported that an 8-year-old was shot in Mott Haven, and as of now, two suspects are in custody.

On Tuesday, a child of 8 years old was reportedly shot on Beekman Avenue according to the NYPD.

Police have reported that the incident occurred a little after 5 p.m. Fortunately, despite being shot in the thigh, the 8-year-old victim is expected to make a full recovery.

Law enforcement officials have stated that there was no weapon found at the scene.

According to officials, there are currently two suspects in custody at the 40th Precinct, but they have not yet been charged with any crime.
