Three persons were killed after a vehicle struck a tree at high speed overnight in Kansas City, Missouri

Early Sunday morning, a tragic incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri where a single-vehicle crash claimed the lives of three individuals. The details of the incident are still under investigation.

According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, a black Ford Taurus was seen driving at high speeds on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday.

According to authorities, the Ford driver was unable to maintain control of the vehicle in the vicinity of East 45th Terrace.

As the car veered off the road, it collided with a tree on its right-hand side.

Sadly, the driver and two passengers were declared deceased at the location of the incident.

The fatal accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department. —
