Authorities have reported that a man, aged 45, who was wanted for kidnapping and aggravated assault, has been successfully caught following a search conducted by the U.S. Marshals Service and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday morning, it was confirmed by PCSO that Donald Hill had been apprehended in the Coolidge locality and had been placed in the county jail.
On Thursday, the Marshalls Service made an announcement that they were in search of Hill, a fugitive who is wanted for five counts of kidnapping and aggravated assault. It has been reported that he is a dangerous individual and authorities are urging people to remain cautious.
Authorities requested the assistance of federal officials to aid deputies in their search for Hill, who was last seen in the vicinity of 10th Street and Vah Ki Inn in Coolidge. Despite sightings of Hill in the area on Thursday morning, law enforcement was unable to apprehend him at that time.
During the initial search, nearby schools were temporarily placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
