While the reason behind the roadside altercation between two individuals remains unknown, road rage has been identified as a common trigger for such incidents. According to national data provided by The Zebra, there has been a significant surge of 500 percent in road rage incidents over the last ten years. Shockingly, 92 percent of drivers have reported witnessing aggressive behavior on the road this year alone. Moreover, the statistics reveal that in 2022, someone was fatally shot in a road rage incident in the US every 16 hours. These figures are a grim reminder of the need to promote safe driving practices and curb aggressive behavior on the roads.
