According to authorities, there was a shooting incident in Morrisania, the Bronx, on Sunday. Two men were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The police are investigating the matter to determine the cause of the shooting and identify the suspects involved.
According to the NYPD, a shooting occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. outside of 818 Home St. in Morrisania. Reports indicate that a 35-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back, while a 26-year-old man was struck in the leg.
As of Sunday afternoon, the perpetrator had fled the scene on foot and was still at large.
