Montgomery Police Officer Dismissed from Service

According to recent reports from WSFA, the Montgomery Police Department has made an announcement that one of their officers has been relieved of duty as of Tuesday.

MPD has taken action against police officer Justin Davis, who has been charged with domestic violence, third-degree assault, and assault with bodily fluids while off-duty. The department has initiated disciplinary proceedings against him, as per their official statement.

According to MPD, Davis has been placed on administrative leave and relieved of duty since October 10th, following the revelation of criminal charges against him.

In 2019, Davis became a member of MPD and was assigned to the Patrol Division.
