WhistleStop, the Rocket City BBQ Festival, is making a comeback in Huntsville, Alabama, for its 23rd edition.
The festival had earlier announced that it would not be returning until 2023, but organizers have now changed their minds and decided to hold it this year.
The event is scheduled to take place on October 20-21 in the Mid City District and will continue to be the primary fundraiser for the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum. Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) will take over as the event’s primary sponsor and has promised to organize a high-quality festival to benefit the museum.
According to i3 CEO Rich Kretzschmar, “We are thrilled to support the continued investment in cultivating the curiosity of our future generations in STEAM.” The festival, which started in 2001, is renowned as one of the finest BBQ contests in the South, as per one of the organizers.
