Following her guilty plea, former President Donald Trump claimed that Sidney Powell was never his lawyer. However, a clip of Rudy Giuliani identifying her as his lawyer back in November 2020 was posted online by the progressive watchdog MeidasTouch and others.
In response to Powell’s guilty plea in the Georgia racketeering case, Trump denied having Powell as his lawyer and persisted in his claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
In a recent post on his Truth Social account, former President Trump expressed his support for Sidney Powell and the millions of people who believe that the 2020 Presidential Election was rigged and stolen. Trump emphasized the devastating impact this alleged fraud has had on the country, stating that it is causing absolute destruction.
Former US President Donald Trump and 17 other co-defendants are currently facing charges of conspiring to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia. The severity of these charges is such that, if found guilty, Trump could potentially face several years of imprisonment.
Back in November 2020, a clip surfaced showing the former mayor of New York City introducing Powell as Trump’s attorney and a legal representative of his campaign. Giuliani, along with Powell, Jenna Ellis, and other members, held a press conference where they made allegations that the 2020 election had been stolen through election fraud.
According to the legal team spokesperson, the team is currently representing both President Trump and the Trump campaign. He added that once Sidney Powell concludes her presentation, Jenna Ellis will follow with a brief presentation of the evidence that has been collected over the past two weeks.

Furthermore, on November 14th, 2020, Trump acknowledged Powell as a member of his legal team in a tweet. He expressed his anticipation for Mayor Giuliani leading the legal effort to protect their right to free and fair elections. Trump also mentioned the other members of his legal team, including Rudy Giuliani, Joseph diGenova, Victoria Toensing, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis, and praised them for being a truly great team. This was a clear indication of Trump’s confidence in his legal team and their ability to defend their cause.
Once he accepts the plea deal, Powell will be compelled to testify in a forthcoming trial, and his testimony may contain detrimental information regarding Trump, who was once his legal advisor.
