It is still unclear what exactly happened, as authorities have not yet confirmed anything. According to sources, who spoke to the New York Post, there is a possibility that the children who were affected may have ingested fentanyl.

According to The Messenger, the New York Police Department quickly responded to a call for assistance at 2:41 p.m. regarding a group of people in distress.

According to reports, a tragic incident occurred where a 1-year-old boy was discovered by authorities and declared dead at the scene. In addition, three other children – two 2-year-old boys and a 7-month-old girl – were taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the three children are currently in stable condition, as confirmed by the New York Police Department.

According to CBS New York, the occurrence took place in a daycare that was being run from a residential home. The daycare has the capacity to oversee a maximum of eight children at a time.
