According to both the New York Post and authorities, there have been reports of a man pushing a stroller with a toddler in it who has attacked five women in New York City in recent months.
According to the Post, a man whose identity remains unknown has been reported to have shoved and spat at women on multiple occasions. The incidents took place in June, August, and most recently on Friday.
The series of attacks took place within the vicinity of Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood.
During the incident, a woman named Waj stated that she tried to inform the police officers at a nearby subway station after a man intentionally collided with her. However, the police reportedly released the man despite her attempts to report the incident.
According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect has been accused of multiple assaults. However, as of now, only one police report has been filed by a 64-year-old woman.
According to the Post, the attack took place on Saturday, leading to her falling to the ground with such force that her clothes tore, and her knees were scraped.
Surveillance footage captured the individual pushing the stroller, and authorities are now offering a reward of up to $3,500 for any information related to the case.
